How would your peers describe your personality?
A professional with the ability to balance business need with employee need. Analytical with an openness to look at all angles of a situation. Amiable with a desire to drive for results in all aspects of life. Direct yet compassionate.
When did you consider yourself a success? How did this make you feel?
There have been several times in my life where I have felt successful. When I can bring about positive change through my actions and others is when I feel most successful. Feeling successful for me is about having a positive impact on others.
What is the biggest challenge you have come across in your career and how did you handle this?
Helping other understand the importance of their most valuable asset, people. It takes education and action to show others what they already know.
What do you do to keep yourself motivated and interested in your work?
My family and friends will call me an educationaholic or education junkie, I love to learn and love to teach which is motivation for me. People and solving a challenge are two other key motivations for me when it comes to work.
What are you most proud of?
Developing team members who have reached their dreams in not only the HR Field but other fields as well.
What inspired you when you were younger?
Corny, but my parents have always been my inspiration. Letting me know that I could do anything I wanted to with my life.
What nail color makes you feel most confident?
French Manicures, bronzes and reds - although I am starting to branch out to other colors that will do the same.
What is a piece of advice you would give to young women?
Know yourself, don't let other define you, reach for your dreams and don't feel you need to walk over others to get to where you want to be.
