Brittney Boyce, ORLY Nail Artist
How would your peers describe your personality?
Creative.
When did you consider yourself a success? How did this make you feel?
Each goal that I achieve, I celebrate as a success. I have goals I still want to reach, and things I still want to learn.
What is the biggest challenge you have come across in your career and how did you handle this?
As I have grown in my career I’ve had opportunities that require me to give on camera interviews. I’m still not totally comfortable being on camera but I’ve pushed myself to say yes instead of turning things down out of fear.
What do you do to keep yourself motivated and interested in your work?
Every year I establish new career goals to keep me motivated. I love learning new things and taking them to a new level.
What are you most proud of?
My family.
What inspired you when you were younger?
My mom has been in the beauty industry for 18 years. When I was a kid she would bring me to her salon and I loved it. I was inspired by the fact that she made a career out of her creativity and I knew I wanted to find a career that would also be a creative outlet for me.
What nail color makes you feel most confident?
Nude - ORLY First Kiss.
What is a piece of advice you would give to young women?
Don’t give up on your dreams, make them a reality!
