When did you consider yourself a success? How did this make you feel?
When Rihanna won her first Grammy and I was at the event watching I felt so proud. I just new big things were on the horizon and I was so right!!
What is the biggest challenge you have come across in your career and how did you handle this?
Learning how to lose a client that I truly love for different reasons. Last year 5 of my girls moved out of LA, it was tough. This one is still hard for me. In this business so many things can change so quickly, I have just learned to roll with the punches and focus on new clients and opportunities.
What do you do to keep yourself motivated and interested in your work?
Keeping up with new products via nail trade magazines and social media!!!
What are you most proud of?
My portfolio of years and years worth of amazing images and videos of projects I got to be a part of. It really is something I look back on and think wow I got to be a small part of somethings that will live on for years and years!
What inspired you when you were younger?
Desire to be successful. I put my private life on hold to further my career for years. It was worth every sacrifice I’ve made to get where I am today.
What nail color makes you feel most confident?
Oooo dark red toes!
What is a piece of advice you would give to young women?
Find something you love to do and do your best to be the best at it. It's not always easy and sometimes you will have to sacrifice for your art, but once you’re established it becomes much easier to find a balance.
